Come and join us on a lovely bike ride through the bulb fields accompanied by a Dutch and English speaking guide! We cycle from Rent a Bike Haarlem past particularly tasteful places to the bulb fields where the beautiful tulips, chrysanthemums and peonies smile at you cheerfully.
Did you know that the Dutch ate tulip bulbs during the Second World War? And that it even makes vodka? Speaking of edible, we’ll take you to some delicious local hangouts for snacks and drinks. In the meantime, we will tell you all about the history of the area, the food culture and you will see a number of iconic buildings.
We enjoy riding an e-bike (surcharge of 35 euros) and our experienced guides will guide you safely along the cycle paths and help you cross the road and charge the bikes. You will be given a helmet for safety and we recommend that you bring a backpack or a bicycle bag if you want to buy a souvenir from the locals along the way.
A visit to Keukenhof is not included in this tour, but you can visit it on your own. See the Keukenhof website to reserve your entrance ticket.. You will then cycle back to Haarlem yourself. You will receive a route description for this.
