The reason we ask for a deposit in the form of a driver’s license, passport or ID card is because in the past bicycles were not returned. As a result, we suffered significant damage. Your passport, ID card or driver’s license will be stored safely in a closed envelope in our safe and will be returned to you when you return the rented bicycle.
